Pay: $200-$300 stipend

Description:

Arc Theatre is currently accepting submissions for Julius Caesar, running July 18 - August 9, 2020 at Rigeville Park in Evanston. Adapted and directed by Artistic Associate Daniel Sappington, this production will utilize Shakespeare's cautionary tale of political opportunism to explore the tribalism and brutality of youth in an ever polarizing world, and what happens when we go too far. Actors of all ethnicities, races, genders, and backgrounds are encouraged to submit!

Auditions will be held at The Theatre School DePaul University 2350 N Racine Ave Chicago, IL

Time Commitment:

First Rehearsal: 6/14 (Mon-Thurs 6:30pm; Sunday afternoons TBD)
Tech: 7/12
Open: 7/18 (performances Sat and Sun evenings at 7pm)
Close: 8/9
All rehearsals, tech, and performances are at Ridgeville Park, 908 Seward St, Evanston, IL

Material To Prepare:

Please prepare one Shakespeare monologue not to exceed two minutes. We may see another piece if there is time and/or work with you in the room! Please also be sure to bring one 8x10 hard copy of a headshot/resume stapled with your contact information on the resume itself.
