Strawdog Theatre Company announces auditions for HERSHEL AND THE HANUKKAH GOBLINS, based on the book by Eric Kimmel, adapted for the stage by Mike Daily, directed by Lauren Katz. A stage adaptation of the classic children's book, the show will use live music to tell the fantastical story of Hershel defeating a series of goblins over the eight days of Hanukkah.

Seeking non-AEA actors of all backgrounds for principal and understudy positions. We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities, ages, sizes, genders, and abilities.

There is pay.

Auditions - Thursday, Sept 26th 6-10pm
Callbacks - Friday, Oct 4th - 6-10pm

We will also be accepting video submissions.

Time Commitment:
Nov 5 to Nov 27 - Rehearsal
Nov 30 to Dec 7 - Tech/Previews
Dec 8 to Dec 30 - Performances

Material To Prepare:
Auditions will consist of one contemporary 60-90 sec monologue and a 60 sec prepared selection of the actor's choosing demonstrating skill in singing or playing an instrument (or both).
