Citadel Theatre is pleased to announce non-AEA auditions for its Theatre for Young Audiences' production of the Disney musical "WINNNIE THE POOH," directed by Gregg Dennhardt. Created by Cheryl Davis with music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman, Robert B. Sherman, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez with music adapted and arranged by Will Van Dyke and based on the stories of A.A, Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film; "WINNIE THE POOH" is presented by special arrangement with MTI (Music Theatre International from its Broadway Junior Collection. "POOH" is a delightful adaptation of Milne's classic books. All the favorite characters are brought to life by a cast of nine: Piglet, Owl, Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Christopher Robin and, of course, Winnie the Pooh. The Bear with little brain is on his perpetual quest for honey. Along the way, his best friend, Christopher Robin, is missing. Pooh and his friends go on a search for the boy fearing that he has been kipnapped by the mysterious "Backson".
