Now in its eighth season of presenting Shakespeare in partnership with the Chicago Park District, Midsommer Flight seeks actors and musicians to join them in their critically acclaimed, holiday production, Twelfth Night, directed by Jeremy Aluma.
Midsommer Flight is committed to casting in a manner that reflects the diverse and rich neighborhoods in Chicago, therefore, we encourage actors of all ethnicities, gender identities and types to audition!
All roles available! Additionally seeking musicians who are proficient to advanced in the following instruments: guitar, mandolin, clarinet, flute, saxophone, and violin.
Musician rehearsals will be held sometime in October before rehearsals begin - based on artist availability. Regular rehearsals will begin Saturday, October 12th.
There will be no rehearsal Wednesday, November 27th - Saturday, November 30th. Tech begins Sunday, December 1st. Performances are Thursdays through Sundays at 7:30pm from December 5th - December 22nd at the Lincoln Park Conservatory.
