Keeping children safe is the most important job as a parent, and the North Suburban YMCA is making it possible to give all 2nd graders swim safety. The NSYMCA has partnered with CCSD21 and Eugene Field School to start a swim safety program to every 2nd grader called 2 Seconds 2 Long. Two seconds can be all it takes for someone to drown. Teaching children how to be safe around water is not a luxury; it is a necessity. The North Suburban YMCA is dedicated to making sure every child learns the essential water safety skills.

We are looking for 2 actors for 7 school assemblies. $250 for all 7 assemblies along with $35.00 per rehearsal and additional compensation for travel ($0.54/mile). The school assemblies will be 2.5 hours long shows.

The first one is already committed to December 12, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm; the next one will be sometime in January (16-18), and the rest of the dates can be scheduled around the actors.
