General auditions for Otherworld Theatre's 2018-2019 season will take place July 17th and 18th from 7-10 pm with callbacks on July 19th.

We are jointly auditioning with Moonrise Games for our upcoming larps- Chronicles of the Realm: Kalibaba (Sept 7-9, 2018) and Dark Labyrinth (Feb 1-3, 2019). Actors of colour with improvisational backgrounds and fight experience are strongly encouraged to submit. You can find out more about our LARP by visiting www.chroniclesoftherealm.com. Dark Labyrinth is a vampire themed larp and includes 18+ adult themes.

One More Meanwhile by Kelly Jean Fitzsimmons, directed by Nathan Pease
Performances are September 26- October 28
Casting for the role of Justin/The Crimson Go (M, 20s). All other roles are cast.

Twenty years ago, Perfectra was an artificially engineered superhero impervious to humanity's flaws. Now she's Jane, a real woman who gave up her powers to become a mother. This comedy explores the importance of family and what it really means to be a hero.

The Winter Wolf by Joseph Zettelmaier, directed by Lauren Nicole Fields
Performances are December 6- January 5, 2019
Casting for the roles of Winter Wolf, Grandfather (M, 60+), and Mother (F). All other roles are cast.

What happens when a little girl finds a way to make time stand still by tricking the looming Winter Wolf?

Medusa Undone by Bella Poynton/ Corona by Elizabeth Keel, directed by Tiffany Keane Schaefer
Corona preview on April 5th and 6th, Medusa Undone previews on April 10th and 11th, Performances of both run in repertory from April 12th- May 18th 2019
Casting for the roles of Poseidon (M), Athena Nike (F) and Echo (F) in Medusa Undone. All other roles are cast.
Casting for the roles of Ariadne (F), Theseus (M), Pneuma (F) and DY-O (M) in Corona. All other roles are cast.

Medusa Undone is a retelling of the fantastical Medusa myth, exploring how a young woman came to be a monster. Corona is a science fiction retelling of the Ariadne/Theseus and the bull myth. These plays will run in a repertory format.

**please note that Medusa Undone contains triggering content including rape and sexual assault

All roles come with a $90 stipend to be paid by the end of the performance run. All performances will take place at Otherworld Theatre (3914 N. Clark St.)
