"A Klingon Christmas Carol" is the first play to be performed entirely in Klingon, a constructed language first appearing in the television series, Star Trek. The story is one you already know-it's based on Charles Dickens' classic tale of ghosts and redemption, adapted to reflect the Klingon values of courage and honor, and then translated into Klingon, performed with English super titles. This show will be directed by John Gleason Teske.
Join the cast of E.D.G.E. Theatre for a three weekend run of this incredible show. Know that when you're cast, not only will you be adding your artistry to this amazing production, but you'll be supporting E.D.G.E. Theatre's Constellation Project. This program focuses on bringing theatre to marginalized communities.

Rehearsals: Tentative. Will be fine-tuned with actor's availability.

Please note - No previous Klingon experience is needed! We are working with a Klingon language expert, Jeremy Cowen, and we will teach you the language.
1-2 minute monologue, heightened language or non-English/ strongly preferred Examples include a Shakespearean Monologue, a Greek Epic Poem, an Italian Aria, or a German translation of "The Jabberwocky", the more fun you have the better Previous Klingon language experience not necessary, but be prepared to learn!
