26 to 34 years old, Black/African American female. LEAD. Danielle has been best friends with Paige and Shaun since childhood. She is a wise-cracking hopeless romantic who always calls it like she sees it.

[PAIGE]
26 to 34 years old, female. LEAD. Paige has been best friends with Shaun and Danielle since childhood. She is the voice of reason to her friends, an aspiring chef, and is great at putting on a brave face in times of trouble.

[LANCE]
24 to 32 years old, all ethnicities male. Supporting. Lance is very good looking and knows it. Confident, but not cocky, he charms his way through life. Love interest to Shaun.

[JASON]
26 to 34 years old, all ethnicities male. Supporting. Jason is a handsome and successful businessman. He is man of faith and he prides himself on his values. The ideal knight in shining armor. Love interest to Shaun.

[LADONNA]
44 to 60 years old, Black/African American female. Supporting. The matriarch to Shaun, Danielle, and Paige. She is first and foremost a mother, but she isn't afraid to let loose. She is committed to living the best life she can and enjoying every minute of it.

[MS. SANDERS]
35 to 50 years old, all ethnicities female. Day Player. Shaun's boss. Ms. Sanders has a no non-sense attitude when it comes to running her business. She expects the best out of her staff. Some comedic timing required.

[ROGER]
21 to 30 years old, all ethnicities male. Day Player. Roger is a co-worker to Shaun. He is very sarcastic and lacks self-awareness in social situations. Often finds himself very intimidated by Shaun.

The role of Shaun has already been cast.

STORYLINE:
What is love? Everyone thinks they have it figured out, but childhood best friends Shaun, Danielle, and Paige are finding the answer is not so simple. A promotion at work and an unexpected turn in Shaun's personal life turns her world upside down. She must learn that the first step in understanding love begins within.
