The Chicago Theatre Access Auditions (CTAA) were created to advance the visibility of Chicago's non-union actors with the city's Equity theatres and selected non-union theatres. This by-application event will invite roughly 150+ non-union/non-EMC Chicagoland actors to audition for a humbling array of 34 Equity and Non-Equity companies in a single day.

To Request an Audition
CTAA is exclusively for actors who are:
-18+ (adults only)
-Not currently enrolled in high school or college
-Permanent residents of the Chicagoland area
-NOT members of Equity's EMC program (applicant information will be validated with Equity)

If you meet these criteria, then actors must meet at least ONE of the following criteria to be eligible for consideration:
-MA/MFA Theatre
-BS/BA/BFA Theatre
-Two professional theatre credits

If actors do not meet the above criteria, CTAA understands that there are many different paths to becoming an artist and invite actors to apply using our Alternate Path. In addition to submitting your HS/R, Alternate Path applicants will be invited to share a 200-word Artist's Statement so the CTAA committee can better understand your journey.

Audition date for Invited Actors: 1/29/2018

Invited actors will be given an assigned audition time on January 29, 2018.
