"Ask Your Doctor" tells the story of a newly hired sales rep who quickly learns what great lengths the pill companies will go to in order to maximize profits. Jillian Mueller ("Trigger Happy," "Angela of Death," "Slamazons!") who both directs and developed the concept for the show, says her inspiration came from a fascination and disgust with the status quo of an under reported, often insidious multi-billion dollar industry.
