"...However, it is the performances that make this experience an enjoyable one. The show’s 3 actresses especially are all lovely. As Bob’s mother, Marie, actress Ann Marie Heiman brings just the right combination of spunk and vulnerability, while Becca Kravitz delviers a touching sweetness to her role as Bob’s thankless girlfriend, Allie, that makes their relationship’s inevitable demise all the sadder. And Shirkey’s performance as Ana contains a wonderful balance of dry wit, cynicism and long sublimated warmth. Despite the tepidness of the material, this cast still generates some heat."

If some of the pieces are fixed, and possibly the story gets cut from two hours to 90 minutes without the intermission, this could be a tighter more meaningful play that truly gets to the meat of what can happen to a young mind when all of the things in his life are not going according to “plan”."
