Buyer and Cellar Tickets On-Sale
Broadway In Chicago announced that individual tickets for BUYER & CELLAR, starring Michael Urie will go on-sale to the public Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. BUYER & CELLAR will play Chicago for a limited engagement beginning May 6, 2014 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut). Producers Darren Bagert ("Of Mice and Men," "The Glass Menagerie"), Dan Shaheen ("Peter and the Starcatcher," "The Fantasticks"), Ted Snowdon ("A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," "Spring Awakening") and Daryl Roth ("Kinky Boots," "Love Loss and What I Wore") bring this hilarious new comedy to Chicago.
Buyer & Cellar will play additional cities through December 2014 including a engagements at Washington D.C.'s Harman Center for the Arts from Friday, June 20, 2014 through Sunday, June 29, 2014, Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum for six weeks from Wednesday, July 9, 2014 through Sunday, August 17, 2014 and a four-week engagement at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre from Wednesday, November 12, 2014 through Thursday, November 30, 2014 (Casting TBD).

BUYER & CELLAR is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs.
The New York Times critics Ben Brantley and Charles Isherwood recently raved about the play. Brantley wrote that BUYER & CELLAR is "the most talked about new comedy of the season." WQXR Radio's Isherwood called the hit comedy "very funny" and "a tour-de-force performance."

BUYER & CELLAR had its world premiere in April 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, where it received rave reviews and played a sold-out, extended run before transferring to the Barrow Street Theatre where it opened June 24, 2013.
