"Looped" is loosely based on a true story. During the Summer of 1965, film and stage star Tallulah Bankhead. in a somewhat inebriated state, entered a Los Angeles recording studio to re-record (or "loop") one line of dialogue from her final film Die! Die! My Darling! It would take her eight hours to record one line -- much to the frustration and irritation of the film's editor editor. What happened during those eight hours will make you laugh, maybe cry a bit, and appreciate the gumption of an unconventional star who wasn't afraid to live life to the fullest and who refused to apologize for breaking the rules.
