Elizabeth Rex Reviews
Chicago Tribune- Somewhat Recommended
"...The second act is decidedly stronger here — the talky nature of Findley’s script takes on darker hues and higher stakes, and the dynamic between Ned and Elizabeth becomes richer and more urgent. For fans of Shakespearean lore — real and fanciful — “Elizabeth Rex” provides a sometimes-stirring portrait of the monarch letting her hair down (literally, at one point) and pondering the price of being a woman alone with vast power, where the only truthteller she can find is a broken, but defiant, man on the brink of his own demise."
