Death Is So Much Worse at Cornservatory

Death Is So Much Worse

Cornservatory
4210 N Lincoln Ave Chicago

In the newest addition to the Nealshow family, a Chicago landlord develops a taste for human flesh while his tenants attend a punk show. Albany Park landlord Laszlo (Chuck Merydith) has always prioritized his tenants' needs. Craving a home-cooked meal? Laszlo's got a pot of soup just for you. Faucet knob won't stop dripping? Laszlo will replace it within 24 hours. Need to improve the turnout at your punk-style band's next gig? Laszlo will be there dancing, moshing, and drinking a can of lite beer. When fear sinks its talons into Laszlo's heart, his newer girlfriend Beth (Eileen Hertz) and her best friend Emily (Liz Greenwood) lead his tenants through a waking nightmare of violence, cannibalism, and the inescapable fear in their own eyes to save him. A mildly dystopian thriller romp from the kind folks who brought you the 2019 hit zombie apocalypse comedy Just Chilling, Death Is So Much Worse will have you on the edge of your seat and holding your sides at Cornservatory (a BYOB venue).
