Cirque Dreams Holidaze Reviews
Stage and Cinema- Highly Recommended
"...It would be Scrooge-like to dismiss this sparkling and eye-popping panoply as tacky, hokey or cloying: It’s just too good-hearted in its eagerness to please not to win over the sourest Grinch. Besides, the circus acts, discovered by Goldberg in Russia, The Ukraine, Mongolia, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Latvia, Spain, Italy, and even the U.S.A., are, unarguably, top-billing, center-ring sensations. Yes, Cirque Dreams Holidaze probably is a much of a muchness, but its sheer excess is just what dreams are made of anyway. It’s impossible to overdose on contagious magic and merry make-believe."

"...The “Holiday” season is a great time for family fun, and while many prefer outdoor activities, like skating, I think families who attend the theater together will have some fond memories in years to come. For many years we were able to head out to Rosemont for the spectacular Rockettes and their Christmas/Holiday show. This is long gone and as a replacement, we are treated to “Cirque Dreams Holidaze”, a combination story telling with feats that one would expect under the tent at a Cirque show. It is called “Performance Art”!"

"...Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, HOLIDAZE is a playful diddie that combines Dickens, the North Pole and winter deity into a big box of Christmas fun. Goldberg keeps it simple making it truly kid-friendly. He doesn’t focus on a story. Instead, Goldberg utilizes a large cast of ornaments to provide a series of wonderland numbers. The thirty member ensemble, many playing multiple parts, add plenty of glitter and sparkle."

"...Cirque Dreams HOLIDAZE is a good fit for families looking to have their kids rapt with attention at this circus style, over-the-top performance. And for those without young ones, it’s still a good fit . You will have a good time with the impressive feats and techno beats."
