Chicago Kids Company, a professional children's theater company now in its 29th season, is currently seeking digital submissions for the role of Mayor Giddy in MRS. CLAUS! A HOLIDAY MUSICAL playing at the Beverly Arts Center (111thand Western, Chicago) and The Stahl Family Theater (Belmont and Austin, Chicago). All of our performers and technicians receive a rehearsal stipend and are paid per performance.
Seeking TWO male-identifing character actors. MAYOR GIDDY is an exuberant, jovial, slightly-absent minded and extremely positive character who delivers Santa's list to the North Pole. This performer makes a brief appearance as Santa at the end of the musical. Chicago Kids Company is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in casting. All CKC shows rehearse for two weeks, typically between 10am and 6pm. CKC shows are presented on Weekday mornings at 10:30am, and select Weekends at 11am and 1:00pm. Rehearsals will be held in Chicago. Having a car is ideal, but not necessary.
