Compass Theatre is accepting submissions for the roles fo Donnie and Mick in our upcoming production or Wellesley Girl by Brendan Pelsue, directed by James Fleming.
DONNIE: to play 13 - 15; male; Black, Asian, and/or Mixed Race. Calm and methodical. He is resigned to his fate. A 13-year-old cynic.
MICK: to play 13 - 15; male; Black, Asian, and/or Mixed Race. Restless and energetic. He will fight to the end. A 13-year-old optimist.
We will consider minors and adult actors who can play teenagers for these roles. Please note that any minor actor involved in the show will need to have a valid work permit.
Auditions will be held at Acting Studio Chicago, 10 W. Hubbard Street, Chicago 60654
Rehearsals in the evenings and on weekends beginning on May 9th at Stage 773 in the Blackbox Theatre.
Tech rehearsals Friday, 5/29/20, Saturday, 5/30/20 and Sunday, 5/31/20
Previews and possible work days. Wednesday, 6/3/20 possible day rehearsal and Preview #1. Thursday, 6/4/20 rehearsal 6:00pm-10:00pm. Friday, 6/5/20 possible day rehearsal and Preview #2.

Script and sides will be given to candidates of interest
