Collaboraction is holding auditions for our upcoming production of Red Island by Carla Stillwell, Directed by Anthony Moseley.

Red Island is a world premiere docudrama that explores racism in America through the lens of historical and current events such as John Punch, Jim Crow and Jussie Smollet.

Red Island is a sequel to A Blue Island in the Red Sea (2017), which explored racism in Chicago, and will employ a similar meta-realism, pulling from social media as a reflection of our culture of oppression, systemic racism.

Future: African American female 16-24 years old. Singer. She is our tour guide through history.

Cousin Brother: African American male late 40's or older. Blues Man.

Karen the 1st: White female 30's. She embodies the problematic white women in history.

Darth Bro: White male 30's. He embodies the problematic white men in history.

Mary-Marie-Maria: Latina 30's-40's. She embodies the fetishism of white supremacy.

A: Chinese-American male 30's-40's. He embodies the fears of white supremacy.
