BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's Only Professional Theatre Performing in the Historic Downtown District is auditioning for A CHRISTMAS CAROL THE MUSICAL, (with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens) Directed by Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass, musically directed by Jake Hartge and choreographed by Jeni Donahue.
Auditions will be held at Larrance Academic Center, 309 E. School Street, Naperville. IL 60540 - on the campus of North Central College
Rehearsals will begin mid October with evening rehearsals (typically Sundays 6-9 pm and Mondays through Thursdays from 7-10 pm) in Downers Grove. Both the rehearsal studio and performance space are easily accessible by way of Metra.
Show runs November 29 - December 15.
Bring headshot/resume. Prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show that best showcases your voice. An accompanist will be provided so please bring sheet music in the key you will be using as no a cappella or recorded music will be accepted. You may be asked to stay for a brief dance call, so dress to sing & bring movement-appropriate clothing. You will be given time to change.
