Valiant Theatre is building a diverse and versatile ensemble of 12-18 actors for our First Annual New Works Festival.
Each piece created for the festival will require three actors, run 20-30 minutes in length, and feature the stories of real people and historic events who inspired change through acts of courage, valor, and determination. The pieces will rehearse for two weeks in mid-January and perform for three weeks late January to mid-February. People of all age, gender/gender identity, race/ethnicity, and abilities, are strongly encouraged to submit.
Two weeks of rehearsal (Mid January). Three weeks of performances (Late January to Mid February).
Please prepare two contrasting monologues demonstrating your range, each of which should not exceed three minutes in length.
