Pride Films & Plays is currently looking for two understudies for its upcoming production of "Casa Valentina" by Harvey Fierstein.

The play is about a group of men in 1962 who gather at a resort in the Catskills to spend time with like-minded men as they explore "the woman within". Most of the characters are married, heterosexual men who defined themselves at the time as cross-dressers. By today's definitions, some of them would be identified as transgender and others would be identified as men who express an alternate side of themselves by dressing and acting like women. Note: All characters appear dressed as their female identities.

1) Understudy for Terry and Amy/The Judge - Both characters in their late 60s - early 70s

2) Understudy for Bessie and Charlotte - Both characters in their 50s - early 60s

There is a stipend plus additional pay if you go on. (No guaranteed performance.)
