Harper Ensemble Theatre Company announces auditions for Green Day's American Idiot. All roles are open and you do NOT need to be a Harper student to audition. We are seeking a large multi-ethnic cast of actors, singers, dancers, 18-30. Rock vocals and those who can play guitar are encouraged! Directed by Laura Pulio Colbert with musical direction by Kailey Rockwell and choreography by Kara Williams-Posmer.
Rehearsals will begin in September with performances on November 15,16,17,22,23,24 in the Harper College Performing Arts Center. You can expect 10-15 hours of rehearsal per week, mostly evenings between the hours of 6-10pm.
Please prepare 32 bars from musical theatre. Bring sheet music. Accompanist will be provided or you may accompany yourself on guitar.
