Seeking two actors to form a new, consistent ensemble. This will be a return to the traditional idea of a company, but through a contemporary lens:

-Performance is developed around the creativity of the actor
-Actors and director working, growing, and challenging each other over a long period
-Renewing the actor's craft-exploring techniques and training to develop a personal approach to performance
-Process-oriented work without the pressures of deadlines and audience expectation to foster a safe space for courageous creation
-Working on pieces until they are ready-not taking shortcuts, not compromising for the sake of easy solutions
-Potentially sharing discoveries via workshops and work demonstrations

Actors that should apply are:
-More focused on creative process than sellable product
-Familiar with standard acting techniques, but are interested in exploring others, expanding their knowledge, and developing their own
-Desiring to express their own ideas and personal experience through performance technique, as opposed to simply illustrating a text
-Unsatisfied with being cast as a certain "type" and reject performance cliche (essentially, those looking to be accepted as the unique human that they are)
-Seeking freedom from the pressures of the commercial theatre: the need to fill seats, the inadequacy of auditions, and never enough time to properly explore the craft
-Willing to devote the time necessary (over six months and hopefully beyond) to reach a deep level of craft and trust within the ensemble

The selection process will consist of an interview followed by an individual work session. The interview location and time will be sent if selected.
