Teatro Vista and Collaboracton are co-producing the remount production of La Havana Madrid, by Sandra Delgado, directed by Cheryl Lynn Bruce.
Below are the character breakdowns for the remaining roles we are seeking to cast.
CARLOS
Puerto-Rican, Afro-Latino. 17-24, Smooth and rough, fast talker, wise. Singing ability a plus. SEEKING PRINCIPAL
LA HAVANA MADRID US
The embodiment of a Latin nightclub. She is the teller of the story. Filled with grace, charm, insight and sparkling personality. Must be an excellent singer.
MYRNA US
Puerto Rican. Early to late 20s. Confident, knows how to work a room, outspoken and compassionate. Excellent dancer, signing ability a plus.
MARIA US
A 14-year-old Cuban refugee. Full of joy, life and exploration.
Pay:
Non-Equity: $150 per week
Understudy is a flat fee of $300
First Rehearsal: April 22
First Preview: May 11
Opening: May 17
Closing: June 23 (Possible extension to June 30)
