The Cuckoo's Theater Project is seeking female-identifying actors of any race or ethnicity to submit for the role of JENNA in the premiere production of Missed Opportunities, a new play by Jillian Leff, directed by Lexi Saunders. Auditions will be held Saturday, September 22nd 12:00pm-5:00pm. Auditions will be held at 7077 N Ashland Blvd Chicago 60626.
The following character will be cast:
JENNA: early to mid 20s - any ethnicity - The cool lesbian friend you wish you had. She's post-breakup, a little lost, and white wine is her coping mechanism of choice. Plays drums in a band called Wilson Shot Gatsby. (No, you do not need to know how to actually play drums for this role, but if you can twirl drumsticks that's cool.)
Rehearsals begin November 19th - January 5th
Tech rehearsal is January 7th - January 10th
Preview dates are January 12th and January 13th
Production dates are January 14th - February 16th
Thursdays at 8pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 8pm and
Sundays at 3pm
(no Thursday performance on January 31st)
(one double performance on Saturday, February 16th )
