Bros do Prose seeks understudy submissions for the Chicago Premiere of PETER PAN. Bros do Prose puts a fresh new spin on J.M. Barrie's beloved novel, featuring a cast of two actors at Mercury Theater Chicago from November 3 to December 23, 2018.
This new play created by Bros do Prose is directed by Christian Libonati and features original music by Michael Huey and Ella Raymont with lyrics by Bros do Prose. PETER PAN comes to Mercury Theater Chicago direct from its world premiere at The Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Connecticut.
Seeking: Actors with a strong background in movement/clown/combat/improv and music. Each actor plays 10+ characters.
Peter Pan, et. al. : Open Gender/Open Ethnicity. Also plays Captain Hook/Pirates/Michael and more. Must play guitar.
Wendy, et. al. : Open Gender/Open Ethnicity. Also plays Smee/Lost Boys/Tinkerbell and more. Must Sing.
Compensation: Rehearsal and performance pay.
Rehearsals/Tech: October 29-Nov 2. @ 9-5pm (u/s called total of 10 flexible hours during this time)
Previews: November 3rd and 4th @ 11am
Understudy rehearsals: Saturdays 1-3pm
Performances: Saturdays/Sundays @ 11am November 3-December 23. Press night Nov. 5th @ 7:30pm.
