BoHo Theatre announces auditions for 110 In The Shade - Music and Lyrics by Harvey Schmidt & Tom Jones and Book by N. Richard Nash. Directed by P. Marston Sullivan. Musical Direction by Ellen Morris.
In the tiny town of Three Point, in the hot and drought-stricken American southwest, traveling con man Bill Starbuck promises the local farmers he can conjure some much-needed rain. Spinster Lizzie Curry, whose advances are rebuffed by Sheriff File, blossoms as she pursues a romantic relationship with the charismatic stranger.
Actors of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition.

Pay: There is $225 stipend for the run of the show
Rehearsals: Sept 10-Oct 26 - Mon-Wed: 6:30-10pm, Sat: 10am-2pm & Sun: 6-10pm at the Heartland Studio, 1026 N Glenwood - Rehearsals are subject to change

Performances are Thursday through Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm
Please prepare 32-bar cut in the style of the show. If you play an instrument (any instrument) please bring it and be prepared to play something in your audition. Please bring your audition book, as well, in case the creative team would like to hear an additional selection. An accompanist will be provided. Bring music in your key and a copy of your headshot/resume.
