The Kirk Players are excited to announce auditions for the first play of their 53rd Season of Community Service through Theatre! RED HERRING by Michael Hollinger will be directed by Jon Leslie Lynn, Artistic Director.
This hilarious farce combines three love stories, a murder mystery, and a Soviet espionage plot into a noir comedy that examines romance and marriage, all set in 1952 America. A large cast is needed, 6 - 18 people (with doubling possible), ages 20's - 60's.
Open auditions are August 13 & 15. Callbacks on August 16. Auditions will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 10 S. Lake Street, Mundelein, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Rehearsals are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church beginning on August 20. Rehearsals will be flexible except for the major leads.
Performances are October 12 -14, at Mundelein High School.
Auditions will be cold readings from the script.
