Montague "Monty" Navarro - Legit Baritone (A2-A4). Clever, charismatic, vulnerable and endearing. Discovers he is in line to become the Earl of Highhurst, and intends to kill off the family that stands in his way. Early 30s to mid 40s, British accent.
Miss Shingle - Legit Soprano (A3 - A5). Monty's unexpected visitor. Late 40s to mid 60s, Cockney accent.
Sibella Hallward - Legit Soprano (F#3/Gb3 - A5). The girl Monty loves; society woman. Late 20s to mid 30s, British accent.
Phoebe D'Ysquith - Legit Soprano (B3 - C#6/Db6). Monty's cousin. Early 20s to mid 30s, British accent.
ENSEMBLE OF 6 (3m, 3w) - All require legit voices, each playing multiple characters parts. Late 20's to late 50's, British accents.
Can-Can:
Judge Aristide Forestier - Baritone. A self-righteous judge determined to close all Parisian dance halls. 40's - 50's.
La Mome Pistache - Mezzo-Soprano. The proud owner of the bal du paradis dance hall. 40's - 50's.
Claudine - Alto, strong dancer. A laundry girl who also works as a can-can dancer. Late 20's - 30's.
Hilaire - Baritone. An art critic. 40's - 50's.
Boris Adzinidzinadze - Tenor. Claudine's cowardly Bulgarian boyfriend. 30's.
