Clown Car to Sicily is a musical sketch comedy group, looking for new members for a long term commitment! We are looking for comedians who are willing to write original content, perform in shows, and participate in production of shows.
We are an independent non-equity group, and we have collaborated with many talented actors, writers, musical directors, and directors in Chicago. We perform show runs throughout the city, and have participated in festivals annually, including the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, and the Chicago Women's Funny Festival.
Auditions will be held at Perceptual Motion Dance Studio 4057 N. Damen Ave Chicago, IL 60618 (2 blocks around the corner from the Irving Park Brown Line stop. Entrance is in the back of the building.)
Clown Car to Sicily is a musical sketch comedy group in Chicago, IL. We write and perform original songs and sketches, hoping to reach the inner nerd in everyone!
Clown Car to Sicily rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9:30 PM, at Perceptual Motion Dance Studio.
For the audition please prepare a 1-3 minute solo piece to perform. It must be original material you have written. It can be a monologue, song, stand-up, etc. You will also read selected scenes in groups, and sing.

A confirmation email will be sent to you, with further information and answers to any questions you may have. Please attend the audition dressed in comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in. You do not need to bring a printed hard copy of your head shot or resume to the audition.
