Description:
BICYCLE DAY is a dramatic adaptation of the events of April 19, 1943: the day that Dr. Albert Hoffman dosed himself with LSD, and went on the first documented acid trip. As it was wartime and gasoline was scarce, Hoffman rode his bicycle home. That day became known as Bicycle Day, and Hoffman's notes are the basis of the play.
Performs at The Annoyance Theatre. Thursday nights April 14-May 24.
