She dreams of being inspired, but instead finds another woman who is identical to her. From the moment that she meets her other self on a funicular to Mount Floyen, she begins the journey to find herself. She enlist the help of her best friend Lola, and together they follow the other Maria to the other end of the world.

MARIA - Female, around 25 years old but taps into moments of her younger self, she's a confident Mexican woman but still has insecurities. She's not afraid to speak her mind, but when it comes to matters of the heart she has yet to define what she really needs - not just wants. Strong comedic timing, fluent in Spanish, must move well.

ROMULUS - Male or non-binary, around 25 years old but taps into moments of his younger self. He is a Mexican man who knows what he wants but is trapped in what's comfortable. This actor will also play a few other characters. Looking for performers who have experience with shadow puppets (but not a must). Strong comedic timing, fluent in Spanish, and must move well.

RAMON - Male, or non-binary, around 30 years old. A hard working Mexican man who is a also an artist and who finds joy and love in the simple things. He runs a lute shop and has an instant connection to Maria, a connection that women would dream about in novellas. This actor will also play a few other characters. Looking for actors who have experience with shadow puppets (but not a must). Strong comedic timing, fluent in Spanish and must move well.
