Auditions for adults wishing to audition for Bad Seed by Maxwell Anderson will be held on Sunday, March 4th and Monday, March 5th at 7 pm. Auditions for girls who can play a stage age of 8-10 will be held 3:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, March 4th.

Auditions will be held at PM&L Theatre's Tribute Hall, located at 877 Main Street in Antioch, IL.

The director, Regina Reynolds (PM&L directing credits include Uncommon Women, Censored on Final Approach, and Once Upon a Mattress), is looking to cast 1 girl, 4 women and 6 men. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the play. Sheets with specific character monologues will be available during the auditions. Auditioners are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to look over the monologues and fill out an audition form.

Bad Seed tells the story of Rhoda Penmark, a sweet, loving, and smart eight-year-old girl who is doted on and admired by her parents and elders, but has another face that starts to be revealed when one of her classmates mysteriously drowns at a picnic Rhoda attends, and everyone closest to her starts to feel uneasy.
