Bittersweet Arts Co.
Stranger on the River

Pay: No Pay

Description:

Bittersweet Arts Co. is happy to announce their first outside auditions for Stranger on the River, an original play by company member & co-artistic director Ross Krakow. The show will premiere at the Den Theatre and will be directed by company member & co-artistic director Mary Lumley.

This experimental play explores our culture's relationship with the greater community of life, and whimsically tells the tale of a man who has left his home, crossed the rushing river, and ventured into the untamed wilderness. He is searching for the Holy Tree, and he is on a mission to save the world from crazy chaos.

This is the world premiere of a play which focuses heavily on ecological and sociological themes, and so we're looking to create a work environment that's process driven. We seek to build a safe space where, together, we can explore community & personal growth through theatre. This is also fundamental to our company.
