Seeking a male understudy for the role of Tapper/puppeteer for our winter theatre for young audiences production of Stellaluna. Must have solid tap experience. Experience or strong interest in puppetry preferred. All rehearsals and performances are paid, EMC weeks are available through this production if actors register with the EMC program. All ethnicities, genders and abilities are strongly encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held at Northbrook Theatre at 3323 Walters Ave. Northbrook, IL 60062.
Rehearsals: January 2-5 (10am – 1pm)
Rehearsals: January 9-12 (10am-1pm)
Tech Rehearsals: January 15, 17, 18, 19
Monday 11am – 4pm
Wednesday 9am- 4pm
Thursday 9am – 11am
Friday 9am- 4pm
Shows: 10am & 1pm – Jan 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17, 24
Potential School Performances are added during the weeks the show is running, based on school and actor availability. Two weeks advance notice is given.
Please prepare 1 children's theatre monologue and 32 bars each of two contrasting pieces of music that best showcase your voice. All material must be appropriate for young audiences. Bring headshot, resume, and a list of any rehearsal or performance conflicts.
