Three Crows is currently seeking submissions for Our Country's Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker.
In 1789, Britain's jails were overflowing. Stealing something as insignificant as a loaf of bread was a one way ticket to the newly established penal colony, Australia. A young lieutenant decides to stage a play with a cast made up of convicts. Dealing with the miserable conditions, a leading lady who may be hanged and only two copies of the text, this performance may be doomed.
All characters double or triple with one main role and a small role.

Rehearsals are Sunday-Thursday, January 28th-March 1st. Tech week is March 4th-March 7th. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm; March 8-25th at the Piven Theatre in Evanston, IL
