Description:

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (MSIP) will be holding auditions for its 2018 season and is seeking actors for its three unique touring programs: Montana Shakes!, Shakespeare in the Parks, and Shakespeare in the Schools.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks will be holding auditions in CHICAGO on Sunday, Dec 3rd (10a-7p) and Monday, Dec 4 (10a-7p). Callbacks will be on Thursday December 7th.

We will accept taped audition pieces. You may either submit a DVD or post your audition to YouTube and provide us with a link. Live auditions are always preferable. The deadline for videoed applications is Friday, December 1, 2017 and decisions on hiring will take place following live auditions.

Auditions should include two contrasting Shakespeare monologues- and should not exceed 3 minutes total.

Ability to play musical instruments and/or sing is highly desired. Our Shakes and Schools tours are particularly interested in hiring actors with educator experience and those with interest and ability to be effective teaching artists as well as actors.

Please bring with you to the audition- two headshots and two acting resumes, two copies of your teaching resume, and an instrument (no ukulele or piano) if you plan to add this to your audition (still not to exceed 3 minutes).
