Bower Theatre Ensemble
2018 Ensemble

Description:

Bower Theatre Ensemble is seeking designers, actors, and production staff to create its 2018 ensemble.

Bower Theatre Ensemble is a new non-equity theatre ensemble aimed at creating a space for Chicago theatre artists to grow and make engaging work. To facilitate this, the ensemble is structured differently to many other theatre companies. A key element is that each artist in the ensemble will be required to commit to the ensemble for one season, consisting of 2 productions and a fundraiser. For each production, an artist will take on a different role depending on their preferences. There is more information on this structure at bowertheatre.com. Each ensemble member will receive a stipend at the end of the season.
