Pride Arts Center seeks artists for WeFest (formerly SheFest, formerly LezFest). WeFest is an evening of performances (including spoken word, music, dance, poetry, monologues, stand-up comedy, burlesque, and more) celebrating queer female (both cis and trans), non-binary and trans artists. WeFest will be hosted by Molly Brennan and Malic White. WeFest will be one evening, December 11. We are looking for 5-10 minute acts.
Please prepare 2-5 minutes of any kind of performance piece that shows you off best, preferably the same act, or style of act, that you would like to perform at WeFest. WeFest is a variety show that welcomes all kinds of performance art, so feel free to do anything you would like.
