The Artistic Home is seeking actors for a production in its Summer on the Patio Series. The play is Jesus at the Door by Gillian Kelly. It will be directed by Eve Pahoresky.
The roles being cast are as described by the playwright:
FLOSSIE - 50-year-old widow, youngest sister. A child-woman, unpredictable, sometimes eerie, sometimes silly. Must be able to sing.
CORIE - Niece of the sisters. Left Kentucky in 1968, hasn't returned in ten years. Sings in a rock band, fiery red hair, dresses like a '70s rock star.
VIOLET - 20-year-old mother of Corie and younger sister of Nell, Flossie, and Pearl.
The stipend is $300.
Rehearsals are Sundays 6-9pm
June 7, 14, 21, 28 (some of these may be on Zoom)
July 5, 12, 19

Audiences are:
August 9, 16, 23, 30 6pm start
There is usually a talkback after the performance.
All rehearsals and performances take place the back patio at the Artistic Home Studio, 3054 N. Milwaukee.
