AstonRep Productions is seeking actors to submit for The Pillowman by Martin McDonaugh. Directed by Derek Bertelsen. The roles of Tupolski and Ariel are already cast.
Casting for the following:
-Katurian - 30s-early 40s, open gender. Despite their taste for the macabre, Katurian is keen to not cause any real trouble. Besides the posterity of their writing, Katurian's only concern is for their brother, Michal.
-Michal - 30s, male identifying. Katurian's brother. Childlike innocence, developmentally challenged. Michal is a year older than Katurian but due to extensive brain damage, he seems more like Katurian's child than sibling. Michel loves stories and has an infantile disposition, taking everything at face value.
-Two ensemble / storyteller roles - 20s+, open gender. Two actors portraying the characters in the stories reenacted onstage. Previous puppetry and movement experience is a plus but not a requirement.
Actor stipend: $250
