Picking up where "Millennium Approaches" left off. As Prior grapples with his AIDS diagnosis, he faces the impending uncertainty of life. Roy Cohn's declining health parallels the moral corruption he represents. Joe's internal conflict reveals the larger societal tensions regarding sexuality and politics. Outwardly joyous moments exist alongside dark revelations, creating a poignant narrative tension.
