Based on the true story of an Egyptian trans man who was born female but always felt he was male inside. One day he posted this question on the internet: 'Is it possible for the soul of a man to be trapped in the body of a woman?' Adam received millions of responses from others feeling the same way. He travelled from Egypt to Scotland, where he hoped to begin his transition, but found himself caught in a paradox. He couldn't seek asylum In Scotland until he 'proved' that he was in transition; but he couldn't begin transitioning until he was granted asylum.
