A former mob hitman who's left his criminal ways in the rear-view mirror, Phil has come to Hollywood to try his luck as a television actor. But making it in the entertainment biz is tough, and with little success in Hollywood Phil is largely supported by his wife Susie, a waitress. Unfortunately, Susie desperately wants something in return, something Phil is not prepared or eager to give: a child. When Sal, a mysterious man from Phil's past, appears and offers him the chance to return to an exciting life of crime, he's faced with a decision that may change the course of his life in Those the River Keeps, presented at Jedlicka Performing Arts Center in Cicero.
