Hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “…One of the most aggressive producing theatres anywhere in the Chicago suburbs…”, due to it’s productions of Metropolis the Musical (US Premiere) by Oscar-winner Joseph Brooks and the premiere Chicago or Midwest productions of Blood Brothers, Jekyll and Hyde, Thumbs by Rupert Holmes, Neil Simon's The Dinner Party, Strangers on a Train, Aspects of Love and numerous plays by author Ray Cooney. The JPAC was also one of the first non-equity theatres in the country granted the rights to perform Miss Saigon.
