I was not convinced, for example, that Sloan's fear of death from his severe but manageable disease is so crippling, he hardly ever leaves his home. (Surely he could find an online support group for people living with diabetes to help him out.)"

"...The script, which MPAACT is revisiting after first staging in 2006, contains some affecting lyrical monologues on loneliness, death, and despondency; in Andrea J. Dymond’s unhurried production, Brandon Greenhouse and Demetria Thomas, as the couple, deliver their speeches with intelligence and emotional subtlety. But Aakhu hasn’t figured out a way to dramatize the characters’ inaction (never an easy task), settling instead for having them describe their stalemate to one another over and over again."
