Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra: UNDONE Reviews
Chicago Tribune- Somewhat Recommended
"...Ultimately, though, the script cuts too much for the story to be easily followed by those who don't already know the play, and it doesn't add enough new insights to justify the tinkering. The result is an occasionally intriguing but underdone version of what is admittedly one of the more difficult pieces in the Shakespearean canon."

"....To distill such a global saga into 80 minutes is a near-impossible feat (undertaken here by Patricia Henritze and Shawna Tucker), and certain plot points outside of the central relationship do feel confusing and sometimes distract. But Tucker, who also plays Cleopatra, and James Sparling as Antony give the title characters a multidimensional humanity, equal parts sadism, vulnerability, and lust. The flammable combination makes it all the more fitting, and surprisingly poignant, when Cleopatra ends her life with the poison of an asp."
