It's a follow up to her highly successful Shadwo Town, a play about sex trafficking of girls in Chicago, the supply side. Shadow Town II: The Johns follows the life of Chase Johnson II and his family members. Living a comfortable life on the north shore of Chicago, Chase, his son, his daughter's fiance all weave in and out of the world of Baby Girl, a 15 year old trafficked girl who best friend is imaginary. Shadow Town II: The Johns is a world where fantasy becomes reality, reality becomes fantasy and trust is only in the eyes of the believer. Shadow Town II: The Johns also explores how we raise our girls and boys in a culture where the status quo and social norms are not at question.
