We all know the tale of Hamlet: there's his uncle who kills his father, demands of vengeance, a few girlfriend issues, backstabbing friends, and on top of it all, he get's hi-jacked by pirates! It might be safe to say, he's having the worst year ever. But what happens when we see the story told from Shakespeare's most underwhelming characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern? We've seen the chess game from the player's point of view; however, Stoppard gives us a peek into what the game is like from the pawns' eyes. Through a series of games, ridiculous banter, and several run-ins with a group of traveling actors, these two indistinguishable gents come face to face with a fate that couldn't possibly be determined. Could it?
